Katuaq - Grønlands Kulturhus is looking for an event coordinator for the events department as soon as possible.
We are particularly looking for an event coordinator with a broad cultural profile.
The event coordinator in Katuaq will have the following tasks:
- In collaboration with other departments to plan and implement cultural events via ongoing contact with all cultural partners and stakeholders.
- Handle project management for all types of cultural events and cultural projects, with a focus on e.g. art exhibitions, performing arts, presentations, debates, workshops and other art and culture-related events.
- Contribute to informing about cultural activities both externally and internally.
- Refer to the event manager
- Enter into close cooperation with the departments in Katuaq

- Have good collaboration skills and is structured in your work
- Be development oriented
- Be flexible in relation to evening and weekend work
- Be able to work independently and purposefully
- Have experience with project management
- Have experience with fundraising
- Be able to speak Greenlandic, Danish and English
- Have knowledge of and interest in Greenlandic culture and art
- Be able to work with IT systems with ease
Terms of employment

About us
The events department currently consists of by an event manager, a music coordinator and an information and marketing coordinator. In addition, there is a cinema and reception manager, a film booker as well as bellhops and operators. With one event coordinator, we are fully staffed in the department.
Katuaq is a commercial foundation that, based on Greenland's House of Culture, works to expose Greenlandic culture in Greenland as well as internationally through building cultural networks and partnerships. Katuaq runs its own cinema and café, just as we are a five-star meeting and conference venue. Katuaq collaborates with many different associations, companies, organizations and individuals within cultural life. Katuaq's grant providers are Greenland Self-Government and Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq. In addition, Katuaq has several sponsors who support the many different cultural events throughout Greenland.
