Salik

Salik Gudmundsen Lennert from Sisimiut is a trained actor. He is 27 years old and has a Greenlandic mother and a Greenlandic father with some Scandinavian roots.

Salik started his acting interest in 2014 when he was cast as the lead in a contemporary play. Before studying acting, he lived and worked in Ireland as a technical computer supporter.

Salik is passionate about performing, creating his own projects and messing around with piano and guitar.

The play: Kaassassuk

The play about the legend of "Kaassassuk" is performed for the Qooqqut Festival as a one-man show by Salik G. Lennerth, who this time conveys the play through music and poems. The legend of Kaassassuk has had many changes and many versions over the years. But the majority of versions are about the fatherless boy Kaassassuk, who gets help from "pissaap inua" and in some versions from "innerup inua".
