Nuuk International Film Festival 2025

Nuuk International Film Festival (NIFF) is Greenland’s only annual film festival — and in 2025 we proudly celebrate our 9th edition.

Our international identity is built around being “the film festival of the northernmost capital of the world” — placing Nuuk at the very heart of our story.

NIFF is both global and local: we welcome international guests with a strong focus on Indigenous voices from around the world, while also being a true festival for the people of Nuuk. The city’s neighborhoods, schools, institutions, and communities all play an active part in shaping the festival experience.

The 2025 edition will once again bring together an inspiring film program, international guests, panel discussions, workshops, and masterclasses.
