Katuaq is seeking a Content & Communications Manager

 

Katuaq is looking for a creative and strategically strong Content & Communications Manager who can strengthen our brand and ensure cohesive and effective communication across platforms.

 

The position is full-time with a start date of June 15, 2026.

 

Your primary responsibilities

  • Develop and produce content for the website, social media, and internal screens – including text, graphic materials, photos, and video.
  • Create a strong and consistent visual and communicative identity for Katuaq.
  • Develop and execute communication, marketing, and branding strategies for the entire organization.
  • Plan and coordinate Katuaq’s external communication, including news, campaigns, and customer information.
  • Contribute to photo and video documentation of selected events.
  • Work closely with the events department, CaféTuaq, the conference team, and the cinema.

 

We expect that you

  • Have education or solid experience in multimedia design, graphic/visual communication, marketing, branding, or communication.
  • Have strong skills in graphic production and are confident in using digital platforms.
  • Have experience producing content for social media and websites – and understand digital communication formats.
  • Have good collaboration skills, are well-structured, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Work independently, are goal-oriented, and development-focused.
  • Are fluent in Greenlandic, Danish, and English, both written and spoken.
  • Have knowledge of and interest in Greenlandic culture.

 

It is an advantage if you also

  • Are creative, have a strong aesthetic sense, and can turn concepts into finished content.
  • Have experience with video production, editing, and possibly hosting in front of a camera or microphone.
  • Follow social media trends and algorithms.
  • Thrive in a vibrant cultural environment with periods of high activity.
  • Have experience with Google Analytics/SEO.
  • Are flexible regarding evening and weekend work.

About us

The events department currently consists of the head of events, a music coordinator, an event coordinator, and a marketing manager. The cinema and reception manager is also part of the events department and is responsible for a film booker as well as assistants and operators.

Chef/Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a new Chef/Kitchen Assistant to start as soon as possible.

 

We are seeking a chef or someone with similar experience:

 

  • Has knowledge of Greenlandic ingredients
  • Is able to maintain overview in a busy enviroment
  • Has experience in kitchen operations

 

Working hours is vary. Café opening hours are

  • Tuesday-Friday: 11:00-19:00
  • Saturday: 10:00-20:00
  • Sunday: 10:00-14:00

The working time is 48 hours per week
