Are you our new Café and Conference manager?

Katuaq - Grønlands Kulturhus is looking for a versatile café and conference manager who is a team player with an overview, business acumen and creativity. In Katuaq, we want to connect the conference area with art and culture and to strengthen the communication and development of food culture.

With reference to the director, you will have management responsibility for three departments with the following key employees: head chef, conference coordinator and a team leader for the cafe. Part of the management team that handles the day-to-day management of Katuaq.
You will be responsible for our Cafétuaq, kitchen and meetings/conferences.

Your profile:

• You are ready to work with Katuaq's values. Which are: cooperation, togetherness, trust and respect.
• You are a team player and good at collaborating across departments.
• You have good communication skills. Your communication must ensure that you establish the right team spirit
• You have good written and oral language skills in these languages: Greenlandic, Danish and English.
• You have knowledge or understanding within Greenlandic/Inuit culture.
• You are creative and ready to think something new and solution-oriented.
• You have experience with management jobs, possibly in the hotel and restaurant industry
• You have knowledge of the structure of meetings and conferences
• You have financial sense and an understanding of budgeting and its follow-up, including shift planning and time consumption
• You are structured and have an overview of productivity and can run a sustainable business
• Your management must thus ensure that the servicing of guests is of good quality
• You are loyal and persistent
• You have a good network
• You are a skilled merchant
• Knowledge of SoMe's importance and digital tools.
