Intern Wanted for Finance and Administration at Katuaq – Greenland’s Cultural Centre

 

Are you enrolled in the AP Degree programme in Financial Management and Resource Management at Greenland Business School, and looking for an internship where you can turn theory into practice?

 

Katuaq is looking for a dedicated intern for administration and finance with an interest in financial and resource management.

 

At Katuaq, you will have the opportunity to work in an organisation where finance, planning, and operations play an important role in developing cultural events and activities in Greenland.

 

Your tasks may include:

  • Budget follow-up and financial administration
  • Invoice handling and registration
  • Working with accounting and financial reports
  • Administrative tasks and document management
  • Various ad hoc tasks within the administration

 

We are looking for an intern who:

  • Is a student in the AP Degree programme in Financial and Resource Management
  • Has an interest in financial management and administration in practice
  • Is structured, responsible, and cooperative
  • Can work independently and take initiative
  • Has knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office package

Katuaq operates its own cinema and café, and is also a five-star meeting and conference venue. Katuaq receives funding from the Government of Greenland and Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, and is supported by several sponsors who help fund cultural events across Greenland.

Chef/Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a new Chef/Kitchen Assistant to start as soon as possible.

 

We are seeking a chef or someone with similar experience:

 

  • Has knowledge of Greenlandic ingredients
  • Is able to maintain overview in a busy enviroment
  • Has experience in kitchen operations

 

Working hours is vary. Café opening hours are

  • Tuesday-Friday: 11:00-19:00
  • Saturday: 10:00-20:00
  • Sunday: 10:00-14:00

The working time is 48 hours per week
