Martin Løvstrøm - Qangami

Martin Løvstrøm, who grew up in Upernavik, is a recognized songwriter and composer in the music band Silamiut. His solo `Qangami´ is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

 

Martin has received the Koda Award twice for his work, one of which is an honorary award. In addition, many of his Christmas songs have been recorded by the vocal group Nivissat.

The opening act of the evening

We are pleased to announce that René Brandt will open the evening with a concert on November 8, 2024, in the Katuaq foyer, performing his own music alongside the band Titarnek.

 

René Brandt is known for his relaxed songwriting style, which makes his music catchy. In 2023, he contributed to the release of music that was recommended as promising at the Koda Awards 2024.

 

The music band Titarnek, founded by René Brandt and Kaaleeraq Kristoffersen in 2014, released their first album, Nipaatsumi, in 2023. René Brandt also released a solo album the same year titled Ive.

 

It will be captivating to see the father-and-son duo perform in the Katuaq foyer, promising an unforgettable evening.
