Rearranging of Hearts

Jaqqi is a self-taught filmmaker, specializing as film editor and a very well-versed camera operator, he has valuable experience in both film- and musicproductions.

In 2020, Jaqqi was awarded the Naalakkersuisut Encouragement Award. Ane Lone Bagger, former Naalakkersuisoq for Culture, said: "His interest in images and films started in his teens. Later he started working on creating films himself. His first short film was called “You killed your dreams”. A short film that is about his feelings, thoughts and dreams."

Jaqqi has extensive experience in recording and live music as a drummer in various bands:
Aalifak, Aajumaaq, Atsinnermiut, Inuk, Ivaana, Naja P, Maya Cook and many others.
