Katuaq has set a 3-year goal with a clear strategy. Shortly after the new Director of Katuaq started, the organization began working on new strategies that will apply over the next three years. After a year, both employees and the board at Katuaq have worked together to realize the release of the new strategy.
“We have considered the clear strategy as an important puzzle piece for taking steps together. We all know that in order to reach our goals, it is important to have clear and understandable objectives,” says Katuaq's Director Ivaaq Kriegel.
The purpose of the five strategies is:
- Enhance the quality of customer experience
- Create an attractive workplace
- Sponsor work
- Engage in dialogue with founders and owners
- Expand the network with cultural actors
These five key strategies will be crucial in determining where Katuaq is heading over the next three years. In addition to these strategies, Katuaq has also introduced a new motto, which says:
"Katuaq - We make your heart beat for art and culture."
“Personally, I like the motto because our heartbeat comes from katuarpalaaq” (the sound of the drum), concludes Ivaaq Kriegel.
Katuaq's main purpose is to spread and keep the world of art and culture alive. The cultural center Katuaq also aims to ensure that people leave the building with great art experiences that bring joy and enrich their lives.
