Aviaaja Lumholt

Aviaja is a trained singer/musician from the Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen and a trained mask dancer from the Greenlandic theater school, Tukak.

Nordkraft Bigband

The whole of Denmark's North Jutland big band, which in recent years has distinguished itself as a very active, visionary and serious ensemble within rhythmic music.

Avannaata Pissaanera

Together, the artists will perform the work Avannaata Pissaanera (Power of the North), which they recorded in 2022. Avannaata Pissaanera is a work in which old and new Greenlandic musical cultures are brought together in a Nordic big band universe.
