JJ Paulo has established himself as one of the most energetic and innovative artists on the Danish music scene. With roots in Tanzania and a base in Denmark, he creates a unique blend of melodic pop and pulsating Afrobeats that gets audiences dancing around the world.
He won “Concert of the Year” at the Danish Music Awards Roots 2023 and has since performed more than 100 shows across Europe and Africa, including major festivals such as Roskilde, Smukfest, Eurosonic and Europavox, where he headlined. In 2026, he also received The Young Artistic Elite award from the Danish Arts Foundation.
With explosive live energy, international touring and new music leading up to his debut album in 2027, JJ Paulo is one of Scandinavia’s strongest Afrobeats voices — an artist building bridges between cultures through music.
Juurini
Originally from Kuujjuaq in Nunavik, Juurini is an Inuk artist whose musical practice lies at the heart of the contemporary vitality of the Inuktitut language. Through an approach rooted in cultural transmission, identity affirmation, and artistic collaboration, he develops a body of work that is both grounded and current.
His music creates a dialogue between Inuit traditions and contemporary creation, supported by a strong stage presence that has led him to perform in numerous northern communities as well as on major stages across Quebec and Canada.
In just a few years, Juurini has established himself as a leading voice in the contemporary Inuit music scene.
