Kimmernaq Kjeldsen (1980) based in Nuuk, is born and raised in Aasiaat by her greenlandic mother Dorthe, and her danish father Jens Kjeldsen. As a teenager, Kimmernaq discovered that she could sing. The singing began as a hobby, but in 2006 she released her first solo album, beside her job as a flight attendant. She has since then released 4 albums in all, and both her solo albums have recieved gold. Kimmernaq has become a well known singer and performer in Greenland. Through singing, Kimmernaq entered the world of theater and started acting. In 2013 she decided to fully commit as a performer, singer and actress. She appleid to the National theatre school of Greenland in 2014, and graduated as a an actor in 2016.

Through acting, Kimmernaq entered the film and Television industry both in front and behind the camera as an actor, director, assistant director, creative producer, first AD, location scouter, and live television host.
