Byron Nicholai
Byron Nicholai is a Yup’ik artist from Alaska. He spent most of his life in Toksook Bay, a village in the Southwest Alaska. Byron enjoys modern and traditional dancing and singing. His love for music led him to create, “I Sing. You Dance.”, a Facebook page where he shares songs and videos. These songs often contain messages he has heard over the years from listening to elders. Byron Nicholai says he enjoys coming to Greenland and that he is always grateful to be invited back each year.
