Nuunu is a young Singer/Songwriter from the town Sisimiut just north of the Arctic Circle on the west coast of Greenland.
She is known both for her powerful voice and her distinct guitar style that ranges from intricate fingerpicking to upbeat strumming. Her guitarlines are full of melodies and hooks and, and are as important a part of her performance as the songs themselves.
At only 17 she has already been an active songwriter for 3 years. Her songwriting feature both personal songs of love and sadness and songs that take their jumping off point in Greenlandic myths and horror stories.
She is currently working on her debut solo release, but has already been featured on the latest album by the Greenlandic rock band MŪK as guest vocalist and songwriter with her song Ajortup Tarnera.
