Sami's reindeer herding workshop
Join Dan Richard Mortensson, a Sami reindeer herder from Svahken Sijte, the southernmost Sami Sijte on the Norwegian side of Sapmi, for an unforgettable Soehpenje-workshop. He was born and raised in a reindeer herding family and has worked with reindeers his whole life. This workshop offers a unique introduction to reindeer herding and the traditional Sami way of using a soehpenje (lasso) to catch reindeer.
